A Special ThanksThis is Selina Grado, now just 10 years old. While planning her 10th birthday party, Selina told her parents that she would like to ask her friends and family to forgo giving her birthday gifts and instead bring a donation to her party for W.E. Care for Kids. Selina said that she wanted to make a donation to the Foundation because she knows that W.E. Care for Kids "does good things with the money, like buy equipment to help sick little boys and girls".
On August 15th, Selina and her mother brought in a $520 donation to the W.E. Care for Kids office! Thanks to Selina’s amazing generosity and selflessness, W.E. Care for Kids will be able to continue to support local paediatric health care in our community. We can not thank you enough, Selina, you truly have made a difference for all the little boys and girls you wanted to help!!
THANK YOU MALDEN CENTRAL PUBLIC SCHOOL:Malden Central Public School students raised an amazing $804.00 over the last year to help support the new W.E. Care for Kids House. On June 26th the school’s Social Justice Committee and Principal presented their cheque to W.E. Care for Kids. Thank you to all the students who participated in the fundraising efforts!!
A Special ThanksMeet Dayna Davidson, 10 years old. Last year, Dayna's little sister was admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (N.I.C.U.) at Windsor Regional Hospital. While visiting with her sister, Dayna noticed several "W.E. Care for Kids" plaques on the N.I.C.U. equipment and began to ask her parents about W.E. Care for Kids. After finding out more about the Foundation, Dayna told her mother that she would like to help. She decided that she would like to turn her 10th birthday into a fundraiser for W.E. Care for Kids. Dayna asked that in lieu of birthday presents her friends and family bring a donation to W.E. Care for Kids.
On June 20th, Dayna and her parents brought in a $600 donation to the W.E. Care for Kids office! Thanks to Dayna's selfless generosity W.E. Care for Kids will be able to continue to support local paediatric health care in our community. Thank you Dayna!!
